This 1972 El Camino SS is a clean California car. The Ute is a perfect match for Chevrolet's 632 because we can fit the engine in the back (it's too tall to fit under a hood) and the mid-engine layout will transfer more power to the ground where it's needed.

We are using the Roadster Shop's "Fast Track" Stage III chassis as the foundation of this build and of course, none of this would be possible without the help of Weddle and their HV25 transaxle.

It took us two years to get our hands on Chevrolet's 632. 1000 naturally aspirated horsepower on pump gas, with a warranty. This might be the most incredible engine ever built and it's going to make a monster out of our El Camino.
